Karnataka Polls: Campaigning reaches feverish pitch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with the BJP Karnataka Yuva Morcha. Following which he said the interaction made him extremely happy and that the enthusiasm of our youngsters gave him great hope for the future of our nation.

In another run up to an interaction with the BJP karyakartas in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Yuva Morcha BJP’s Karnataka unit through the Narendra Modi App on Monday. While asserting that violence in any form should not be supported by any political party in a democracy, Modi urged the youth workers to debate instead and not act in vengeance even when they have lost their several karyakartas in political violence.

Hitting out at Congress over its allegations, that NDA govt had failed to create employment, PM Modi said that Unemployment and joblessness are a legacy of Congress. They did nothing to reduce unemployment.

PM Modi hit out at opposition saying that there are certain political parties in the country who are spreading lies and are against advanced technologies.

Prime Minister Modi has said that India’s largest Start-up hub and incubators center will be developed at six places in Karnataka.

Earlier this month, Prime Minister Modi had interacted with Kisan Morcha Karyakartas of BJP’s state unit, via the NaMo App, and boosted their morale.

While addressing a public meeting in  Bhalki, in Karnataka,  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that all the public money which has been looted by the congress party will be recovered and used for welfare of people once BJP comes to power.

Other political Parities also geared up their campaign for the upcoming assembly polls. Congress President Rahul Gandhi held a road show in Kolar. He will also hold rallies and public meetings at various places.

Congress Party stalwarts held several rallies across the state on Sunday as well. . Addressing media in Bengaluru yesterday, Chief Minister Siddharamaiya exuded confidence that the Congress will emerge victorious in the state assembly polls as his government has done a lot for the development of Karnataka and welfare of people. 

Senior Congress leader Dr. Manmohan Singh said that during upa regime, gdp was at 7-7.8 %, however, NDA has been unable to achieve the growth targets despite of favourable international climate and low interantional oil prices.

JDS state President HD Kumaraswamy and other leaders released party’s manifesto in Bengaluru. JD(S) promised free power for BPL families. The party has also promised a loan waiver in its manifesto. The JD(S) has said it would provide free seeds and fertilizer to farmers. The party also says that pregnant women, differently abled people, senior citizens and widows would get pension.
