Poll fever intensifies in Karnataka, PM Modi to address four rallies today

Chief Minister Siddarmaiah will be in Bengaluru today and reach Mysuru as part of his statewide tour and will address meetings in his home district today. 

JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy will reach Hassan and campaign in Chickmagalur, Shimoga and North Canara today.

Earlier, the Prime Minister yesterday held four back to back rallies in the state hitting out at Congress for plight of farmers in the country. He exuded confidence that the BJP will form the next government in the state with full majority.

Continuing his attack on the Congress, PM Modi said that Coming 15th May, the Indian National Congress will become the PPP Congress. It will be reduced to a Punjab-Puducherry-Parivar party. 

Union Minister and Senior BJP Leader Smriti Irani held a number of  public meetings and roadshows at different places in Karnataka. Elated by heavy turnout during her election campaign, Smriti Irani asked voters to support BJP in the upcoming assembly election. Referring to Karnataka BJP Sankalpa Patra, Smriti Irani said if voted to power Yeddiyurappa led BJP government would take a decision to wave off upto one lakh rupees loan of farmers in the first cabinet meeting.

BJP president Amit Shah also held road show in Mysuru in the poll bound state karnataka. He exhorted party workers to foil attempts by the Congress to ramp up caste divisions.
